MEET OUR DOCTORS
Our founder, Dr. Mallery's story
-

Dr. Martina Mallery, DDS, NMD, BCND, AIAOMT
to pursue her college education. In 1999, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. In 2004, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. She was practicing conventional dentistry until she opened her mind to holistic/biological methods and concepts she came across in her private studies.
As her independent research and interest in holistic/biological dentistry deepened, she began introducing these methods into her practice. She became an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine, and Holistic Dental Association. These organizations publish peer-reviewed studies that present compelling scientific evidence that certain dental materials and procedures routinely used in modern dentistry have potential to cause autoimmune disorders and other degenerative diseases, including cancer. To align with the emerging science and truly serve the best interests of her patients, Dr. Mallery decided to convert fully to a biological/holistic dental practice in 2017.
Since then, Dr. Mallery has become an Accredited Biological Dentist by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. She is also certified in Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique. She also went on to study at the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry, School of Biological Dentistry and Medicine to earn her degree of a Board Certified Naturopathic Dentist.
Her practice is free of all fluoride-containing dental materials, she stopped recommending root canal therapy as a long-term definitive treatment, and she practices metal-free dentistry. She is also certified and experienced in ozone therapy in dentistry. Further, she completed surgical residency in advanced concepts of biological tooth extractions, jaw bone cavitation surgery, and Swiss ceramic implants under the world-renowned Prof. Shahram Ghanaati at Tufts University in Boston.
In her spare time, Dr. Mallery loves to spend time with her sons, visiting her family in Czech Republic, enjoying Florida beaches and Florida springs, biking, nature walks, and reading books.

Dr. Gina Najafi, DMD
Dr. Gina Najafi is a native Floridian, and was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. She began her academic journey at the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in 2010. She then, continued her pursuit of higher education and lifelong passion in dentistry by achieving a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2013, and then, her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2018.
Throughout her professional journey, Dr. Najafi has worked extensively in underserved and disadvantaged communities, where she provided exceptional dental care to both children and adults. Her commitment to education also led her to serve as a faculty member at Nova Southeastern University’s pediatric rotation site, where she guided international dental students through their clinical experiences and ensured they met all program requirements for successful completion.
Due to her dedication to understanding the root causes of oral health issues and airway dysfunction, she transitioned to holistic and biological dentistry, and advocates a natural, whole-body approach to dental care, focusing on the overall wellness of her patients.
Dr. Najafi is an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and is certified in the SMART protocol for safe mercury amalgam removal, as well as Ozone Therapy in Dentistry.
She also practices Myobrace Orthodontics—a preventive program in pediatric dentistry designed to address the underlying causes of poor jaw development and upper airway dysfunction. With Myobrace, she supports the natural growth of children’s orofacial structures, aiming to correct issues such as teeth grinding, crowding, and inadequate jaw function at an early stage. The Myobrace program supports healthy nasal breathing habits in children, which are essential for proper development of facial structures and airway function. By actively guiding the growth and function of the mouth and jaw in tandem with breathing exercises, Myobrace minimizes the need for extensive dental treatments in the future, prioritizing early intervention and normal development for optimal oral and airway health.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Najafi is an accomplished art instructor, and teaches realistic acrylic painting and impressionism. She also enjoys reading, writing poetry, kayaking, biking, and watching sunsets at the beach.
Dr. Najafi is proud to be a member of the White Sands Holistic Dentistry team, where she is committed to delivering integrative dental care tailored to the needs of every patient.
