Dr. Martina Mallery, DDS, AIAOMT

Dr. Martina Mallery was born and raised in Communist Czechoslovakia and always had a passion for health care. She went to Secondary Medical School in Prague and earned her Dietary Nurse degree. Right after the wall came down she relocated to the United States of America to experience freedom and democracy and to pursue a college education. She graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in 1999 and subsequently earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles in 2004. She had been practicing conventional dentistry until she opened her mind to holistic/biological methods and concepts she came across in her private studies. As her independent research and interest in holistic/biological dentistry deepened, she began introducing these methods into practice. She became an active member of International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine, and Holistic Dental Association. Thanks to these organizations, Dr. Mallery was able to access a vast database of primary research studies that present compelling scientific evidence that certain dental materials and procedures routinely used in modern dentistry have a potential to cause autoimmune disorders and other degenerative disease including cancer. She decided to convert her practice in order to align with the emerging science.

Since then, Dr. Mallery has become an accredited Biological Dentist by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and she is also certified to safely replace dental mercury amalgam fillings. Her practice is free of all fluoride-containing dental materials and she stopped recommending root canal therapy as a long-term definitive treatment. She continues her research and advanced training in holistic procedures such as biological tooth extractions, ozone therapy in dentistry, detoxification protocols, phase-contrast microscopy, dental material biocompatibility testing, metal-free alternatives, surgical treatment of jaw bone cavitations, and proficiency in cone beam CT scan and laser technology. Furthermore, she is a Huggins Protocol practitioner which waws developed by the late Dr. Hal Huggins, the "father of holistic dentistry."

Dr. Mallery and her team continue to study as well as scrutinize all emerging dental treatment modalities making sure her patients receive treatment in the most highly biocompatible, ethical, safe, science-based, and health promoting manner.
